About the position
The Social Media Operations + Content Associate will report to Cider's Social Media Content Lead and contribute to marketing efforts that help build Cider's brand legitimacy and transparency by coordinating content from our photography studio to be optimized for social media engagement. The Role is focused on all things social media and the responsibilities will include a combination of logistics and creativity that will contribute to Cider's Social Media operations and marketing efforts as a whole.
Responsibilities
Manage branded TikTok account, following current and on-trend content strategy to optimize view count
Research and classify new social media content for Cider's accounts and execute on capturing that content for the following channels; TikTok, Instagram, BeReal, Snapchat, YouTube
Act as a liason between Cider's Social Media Content Team and Cider's Studio Photography Merchandising team to coordinate social asset asks
Schedule and automate all Instagram posts (daily) including; researching + tagging products, tagging users, using native IG features (story stickers, link boxes, reminder features, etc..)
Manually post all Reels and Stories on Instagram (daily)
Capture organic/authentic/fun content at photoshoots exclusive for social media, giving users a sneak peek and behind the scenes peek at our studio operations:
Content may include; setting and styling clothing rack pics, flat lays, directing models to shoot on trend TikTok Videos, capture BTS Videos, etc..
Edit and film all above
Manage branded BeReal account (daily)
Contribute to Snapchat + TikTok stories (daily)
Requirements
Must have experience with TikTok
Passionate about the fashion industry and in tune with Gen Z culture and eager to help develop a new fashion brand from scratch
You have deep knowledge on how social media platforms work
You have video editing and iPhone photography skills
You have a good sense of style and basic understand of Gen Z styling
You are passionate about social media and capturing fun, authentic and engaging content
You have ability to meet deadlines, manage many moving parts at once, stay organized
You have excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
Problem solvers who are excited and hungry to work in a high-growth startup environment
High degree of proactiveness, self-motivation and autonomy; confident in working independently and assuming clear ownership of projects in a quickly evolving environment
