Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create highly innovative product designs in line with overall brand strategy.

  • Handle the design and production of product packaging with direction from senior leadership. Includes concept presentations (concept decks, mood boards, drawings, renderings, and models).

  • Design across various consumer touchpoints, including for social, e-commerce, and specialty-multi.

  • Create renders and physical comps where needed.

  • Work cross functionally to develop multiple iterations of designs for consumer testing.

  • Maintain and build on brand sustainability goals.

  • Create innovative and connected packaging solutions.

  • Work with Packaging teams to identify the right components to achieve desired look and feel.

  • Collaborate with 2D, digital, visual merchandising, packaging, product marketing, product development to create highly desired designs.

  • Partner with agencies and assist with outside services.

  • Support with sourcing and utilize outside vendors, artists, and designers for new innovative package solutions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Additional Job Specifications:

  • Understanding of digital design landscape and high proficiency in outputting digital format assets (animated GIFs, banners, brand.com content).

  • High proficiency in Adobe Design Suite, with an emphasis in Illustrator and Photoshop, understanding of Adobe Dimensions a plus.

  • Understanding of packaging structure, printing, and applying brand standards and guidelines.

  • Strong understanding of graphic design, layout, color, and typography.

  • Demonstrated capability to meet project timelines.

  • Team player able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.

  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree.

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of packaging design experience; preferably in beauty.
