About the Position
The Product Engineering Co-op will assist in data management and analysis to support the Product Engineering team. This role will report into the Director of Product Engineering. This co-op is based in our New York City Headquarters. The program dates are to be determined in Spring 2025. The pay for this position is $20/hour.
Responsibilities
Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of data for various engineering projects.
Support the Manufacturing Development team with scale-up data analysis.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights to the team.
Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop creative presentations, visualizations and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvements by analyzing data trends and providing recommendations.
Help the team manage ongoing engineering projects.
Qualifications
Sol de Janeiro’s Co-Op Program requirements:
You are a junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited University or College
You are local to the NYC area for the full duration of the co-op
You have interest in the business areas listed above with some relevant coursework, student clubs, and/or internship experience
Strong skills in data analysis and proficiency in Excel.
Creative individual with the ability to design compelling PowerPoint presentations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
