About the Position  

The newly formed Content and Platform Development team has been tasked to drive the brand’s social storytelling, platform innovations and connected experiences – to ultimately help accelerate Ralph Lauren into the Next Great Chapter. The team are ultimately responsible for helping grow the brand’s SOV, and therefore elevating the brand’s positioning for (new) cultural relevance today.

We are therefore looking for an Associate; Content and Platform Development within this newly-formed team, who will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of social-native storytelling and experiences that deliver to Ralph Lauren Brand and Programming strategies. The Associate will also support day to day communications and administration for our production with third party vendors, influencer creative and additional platform partnerships that will support and amplify the Ralph Lauren brand. This role will report to the Director; Content and Platform Development.

Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $62000 - $90000 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current in social media and digital marketing trends; continuing to educate wider teams on innovations and maintain social leadership within the industry.

  • Identify new communities, and support the day to day execution of bespoke, social-first moments to drive SOV, growth and engagement with these new audiences.

  • Support the production of our amplification strategies, identifying new opportunities to drive growth and media value across our social media campaigns.

  • Support the execution and administration of scalable formats and franchised series that elevate the brand narrative and help drive engagement with new and younger consumers – laddering back to key strategies.

  • Identify trends that help concept for quick-twitch content in response to cultural conversation that arises organically

  • Lead the administration and project management of our partnership with Agency. Establish process for greenlight and milestone reviews for storyboards, directing, graphics, talent, post production and delivery.

  • Support and partner with our Influencer Marketing and Product Marketing in creative concepting with talent and influencer activations, briefs and storytelling.

  • Support the maintenance of a social-native network of content creators who have expertise per social platform, and forge ways that the creators and RL can grow each other’s success.

  • Align with Project Management on work back schedules and deliverable specs.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Past experience in Social Media Content Production in-house and / or agency perferred

  • Strong eye and analytical understanding for wider industry trends, insights and consumer-led experiences

  • Strong understanding of fashion, beauty and / or lifestyle sensibilities a must, with an appreciation and/or understanding of how to adapt for Ralph Lauren sensibilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in building and maintaining positive working relationships within a cross-functional environment

  • Experience in identifying content creators, platform leads and external production vendors

  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an extremely fast-paced environment

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards

  • Flexible, and able to respond immediately to business changes and priorities

  • Collaborative nature; able to work well with many different types of people both inside and beyond Ralph Lauren

  • Ability to make good decisions quickly, knowing when to exercise judgment and when to seek input/perspective from Senior Leadership
