The award-winning in-house agency team for PepsiCo Foods, affectionately called D3, is hiring again! We are growing rapidly with a dynamic team that includes Creative, Account Service, Strategy, Ops, Production, Social, Digital, Cause, and Partnership experts providing full-service creative agency work for the PepsiCo Foods North American portfolio.

The D3 team is a full-service creative agency that supports the PepsiCo Foods North America business, working on iconic brands like Lay’s, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Cap’n Crunch and Quaker (to name just a few!).

About the Position

As a member of the creative team, the copywriter role will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the account and creative teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.Copywriters at D3 do more than just write Instagram post copy. They ideate brand equity campaigns, craft big buzzworthy stunts, and create killer content alongside our best-in-class social teams. All of this work spans across a growing number of culturally relevant brands to reach a wide variety of targets. We are hiring for two copywriter positions. The brands these positions will cover are as follows:

  • Lay’s, Popcorners, Flamin’ Hot, Grandma’s Cookies, and Miss Vickie’s

  • Cap’n Crunch, Quaker Masterbrand, Quaker Chewy, Life Cereal, Pearl Milling Company, Cheetos Mac’n Cheese, Rice-A-Roni, Bare, HiLo, and Heath Warrior

Responsibilities

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands

  • Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings

  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of media that connects and drives action while varying voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by our consumers and brands

  • Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product

  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion

  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and industry trends

  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, or related discipline

  • Professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work – featuring film, stunts and social

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times

  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

  • Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat Pro and Creative Cloud

  • Social media or content marketing experience

  • Ability to proofread own work familiarity with standard style guides

Additional Information

Compensation and Benefit Details:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $111,000 based on a full-time schedule.

  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
