Job Description

The Global Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting all Global Marketing initiatives for new launches and ongoing business. This position reports into and supports the Director, Global Marketing in various brand analyses projects, strategic initiatives and brand communications.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • New Product Launches: Assist Director in new product launch planning according to new product development process in collaboration with the Executive Director, Global Marketing.

    • Issue and update Marketing programs in project management software.

    • Prepare Cost Objectives for new launches to ensure launch profitability.

    • Issue and update Creative & Merchandising briefs.

    • Follow up on deliverables with various team.

    • Responsible for early Press and Retailer samples.

    • Support Director in elaboration of key documents (Launch strategy decks, Forecasting decks, Launch reports).

  • Brand Analytics

    • Prepare Mix of business analysis.

    • Provide competitive launch reviews.

    • Send regular industry news, launches, innovations, and trends.

    • Support the Global Marketing Department in other various ad hoc analytic projects.

  • Other Duties

    • Support the Director, Global Marketing with the preparation of various marketing presentations (International meetings, Strategic Planning, etc.).

    • Meeting preparation: ensuring rooms are set up for various meetings with appropriate products, comps, etc.

    • Competitive product purchasing.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with 1 to 2 years professional experience.

  • Passionate about the beauty industry.

  • Strong sense of the digital and social media landscape.

  • Strong motivation to be involved with and learn the functions of the marketing department from the ground up.

  • Attention to details, ability to work independently, reliable.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • A strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback in a fast-paced environment.

  • An energetic, team-oriented individual with interpersonal skills.

  • Strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills.

  • Software expertise – MS Word, Excel, Power
