About the Position

College Fashionista is seeking a creative, efficient, organized, detail-oriented Editorial Intern for the spring semester. The Editorial Intern may assist the College Fashionista Editor with all things editorial-related: writing multiple articles per week, editing student-submitted articles, creating and optimizing SEO and e-commerce content, and working on larger editorial packages, among other projects. This role will be given timely writing assignments across Fashion, Beauty, Career, and Lifestyle sections and more, and will be expected to work on tight deadlines and turnarounds.

Qualifications

Being an intern at Her Campus Media means receiving meaningful tasks and projects that will help you refine your interests, teach you crucial editorial skills, and prepare you for professional success. Interns are/have:

  • Current college undergraduate

  • Strong communication, organization and strategic thinking skills

  • Working knowledge of all G Suite platforms

  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient and creative work ethic

  • Passionate about the Her Campus Mission 

  • A passion for all things Gen Z

  • A knowledge and love for the fashion and beauty industries

  • Interest in writing, editing, research, fashion and beauty trends, and social media

Previous leadership experience and involvement in College Fashionista’s community, Her Campus’s Chapter Network, and/or the InfluenceHer Collective is preferred.

Additional Information

Remote internships are available to current college students year-round on a full-time or part-time basis. Interns must be able to receive academic credit and interns are paid a stipend. Hours are flexible.
