About the Position
College Fashionista is seeking a creative, organized, social media savvy, and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creation Intern for the spring semester. This intern will specialize in creating video content for College Fashionista’s social channels, specifically TikTok and Instagram Reels. The Social Media Content Creation intern will serve as one of the “faces” of College Fashionista on these platforms and their main responsibility will be creating multiple videos a week.
The Social Media Content Creation intern will also write copy for social posts, research the latest social media trends, brainstorm ways to adapt popular memes to fit the College Fashionista audience, and engage with College Fashionista community members across social media platforms.
This intern will also assist the College Fashionista and Her Campus Media Social teams with ideating new ideas for social media channels, capturing social media metrics on a monthly basis, and coordinating community takeovers for social channels, among other tasks.
We are looking for an intern who can commit to 15-19 hours per week for the duration of the Spring semester (January/February to April/May).

Qualifications

Current college undergraduate
Strong communication, organization and strategic thinking skills
Working knowledge of all Google for Work tools
Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient and creative work ethic
Passionate about the Her Campus Mission
Strong video editing skills and a comfortability with being on camera
A love for social media and a pulse on the latest trends
A deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels, both from a creator and user perspective
An interest in creating fashion, beauty, career, and lifestyle related content
Additional Information
Remote internships are available to current college students year-round on a full-time or part-time basis. Internships are offered for academic credit and interns are paid a stipend. Hours are flexible.
