About the Position

As the Consumer Engagement Coordinator, you will work with the amika consumer engagement team on all things go-to-market and assist with day-to-day team and agency operations. You will support amika’s mission to be a friend to all while helping to grow brand awareness and cultivating brand love + advocacy. You will be joining a team of beauty + marketing enthusiasts and will be reporting to the Senior Director, Consumer Engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about all facets of consumer engagement as you begin your career path. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, eager to learn, and knowledgeable about or interested in the beauty industry. 

location: remote (US only)

salary: $62,000 - $70,000 + bonus

Responsibilities

community events + Social

  • events: Assist Senior Director with vendor management for events: brief deliverables to creative, act as internal cross-functional liaison + marketing team project manager, help ideate new strategies + promotion plans

  • asset management: Organize go-to-market launch assets, as well as evergreen social assets to ensure content is organized and easily accessible

integrated media

  • billing: collect CE team invoices, update internal billing tracker, provide invoices and payment instructions to AP

  • web3: Contribute to management of amikaverse Roblox experience + Web3.0 initiatives: work closely with developer on timelines + implementation, help ideate new features or UGC, manage approvals, liaise with creative team to ensure timely feedback 

  • reporting: collect + review reporting from external media agencies and partners. Assist Integrated Media team with monthly post-performance reports. Maintain monthly marketing dashboard for consumer engagement team. 

earned Influencer + PR Events

  • Influencer Discovery: contribute to ongoing influencer discovery lists + vetting

  • Admin: Source and pack gifting materials for both product launches and ongoing brand campaigns, and manage shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery. 

general Team Support

  • partner management: Contribute to vendor RFPs, proposal reviews, + contract project management with Legal

  • trend monitoring: Monitor competitive social landscape, market changes, and developments and remain current on emerging industry, digital, and influencer marketing trends. Proactively share trends + competitive research with broader marketing team to ensure amika stays competitive in the social landscape.

  • admin: Assist with team admin such as compiling + circulating meeting notes.

  • international: Contribute to GTM toolkits for international teams, ensuring global vision and consumer engagement strategy is clearly articulated with easily executable assets.

Qualifications

  • BA, BS or equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism preferred

  • Excellent written + verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, fast learner, open to receiving feedback 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of graphic design (Canva)

  • Some project management experience (+ knowledge of Asana) a plus!

  • 1-2 years of experience in project management or consumer engagement (media, influencer, or social) 

  • Familiar with analytics + publishing tools such as Dash Hudson, Tribe a plus

  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude + passion for all things beauty
