About the Position

The Coordinator, Distribution Marketing will support the team’s objective to maximize Starz Entertainment (STE) subscribers and revenue through collaborative development and implementation of marketing communications and related campaigns. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. The Coordinator will manage the day to day marketing operations for delivery of Starz and StazEncore creative assets to distributor partners and will support the distribution team in marketing Starz and StarzEncore on multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling, consolidating and disseminating distribution updates, consumer marketing updates, production show notes, programming details, etc. to internal stakeholders

  • Requests, curates and distributes monthly/quarterly promotional priorities and assets for partners to help ensure inclusion in marketing materials

  • Works with creative team on development of assets and base creative; track placement, usage and media value

  • Executes creation and distribution of Starz monthly newsletter to partners

  • Supports Manager and point of sale team in the creation and dissemination of ongoing point-of-sale marketing assets, including image and asset deliveries, email communications, and monthly one-sheets. Works with PR to coordinate Distribution team participation in STE events and premieres. Handles invitations and RSVP’s to STE events, premieres and industry functions. Provides onsite assistance as needed.

  • Familiarity with Industry/competitive environment and Partner goals and product packaging

  • Manages creative deliverables and timelines to ensure finished product is delivered on time and within budget – i.e. materials, premiums, and invitations

  • Supports tactical execution of marketing strategies consistent with brand positioning and messaging objectives

  • Works with distribution team to create and maintain presentation decks, including layout and copywriting

  • Maintains and manages Distribution Client Contact Database

  • Oversees sourcing, production and distribution of STE branded premiums

  • Responsible for budget tracking and performing key administrative functions (e.g. partner and affiliate websites/social audits, legal reviews, shipping, department calendars, etc.)

  • Proactively identifies and acts on opportunities to implement process improvement and synergies

  • Supports Distribution Marketing Managers on various projects, overseeing small-to-medium scale projects and recurring tactics as needed

  • Utilizes a high level of responsiveness to facilitate development and maintenance of strong working relationships with both internal and external clients

  • Uses relevant data, tools, and resources to think creatively and make informed decisions

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field, preferred

  • 1-2 years of previous marketing experience and a general understanding of marketing principals and channels

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Detailed oriented

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines

  • A team player with high level of dedication

  • Excellent organization skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts

  • Work collaboratively with diverse, multi-location, multi-faceted teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong social media skills and familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and SnapChat

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Also experienced in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop. Ability to learn proprietary software solutions.

  • Experience using InDesign and Photoshop a plus

  • Experience in Zoomifier a plus
