About the Position

Mattel is seeking an ambitious Social Content Producer to work with internal and external partners to oversee execution of content for TikTok, IG, FB, and  other social audiences.  The position will work directly with the strategy team and creative development to ensure content is produced on time and within budget.

The DEG Content Production TEAM is built on innovation, creativity, and collaboration. We work with our strategy teams and brand partners to create unforgettable assets that meet Mattel’s goals. We collaborate with our cross-functional partners to maximize our resources and impact. Together we create best-in-class entertaining content inspiring kids and adults to connect with Mattel brands and franchise IP. Responsibilities

  • Thinking strategically about productions and campaigns to find the most efficient and impactful pipeline for production

  • Determine the right talent for each production and defining project schedules, budgets and milestones

  • Responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget

  • Building all projects within WorkFront (project management tool) for tracking and reporting

  • Managing asset delivery, metadata, and organization with the Mattel DAM

  • Transcribing annual programming calendars into production calendars and managing shifts in dates with internal and external partners

  • Stay ahead of the curve on ever-changing social media platforms and best practices

  • Innovate with new production techniques and approaches to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape

  • Identify and curate new industry partnership opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of production experience creating videos for digital platforms

  • Strong understanding of social and digital content platforms and requirements.

  • Creative thinking skills with experience innovating that leads to engaging and playful visual storytelling

  • Proficiency in contracts, agreements, labor laws, and budget tracking

  • Preferred qualification: Experience with post production, localization, and distribution
