About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Social Shopping & Marketing Intern who is eager to learn and contribute to our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about beauty, social media, and e-commerce. You will work closely with our Social Shopping team to grow e.l.f. Beauty's presence across various channels, helping to increase visibility and create new opportunities for engagement and commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the social shopping team, including managing e-commerce activities across social channels.

  • Collaborate with small teams to support the development and execution of strategies to expand our presence on commerce businesses on social platforms.

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of social shopping initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.

  • Participate in special projects aimed at enhancing our visibility and engagement on social media platforms.

  • Support the team in identifying new trends and opportunities within the social commerce space.

  • Conduct market research on brand and platform competitors across channels.

  • Assist in managing relationships with partner agencies.

  • Engage with our online community, fostering relationships that encourage brand loyalty and drive sales.

Qualifications

  • Ability to commit to 40 hours a week

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in beauty, social media, and e-commerce.

  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, and a fast learner.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across functional groups.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and how they can be leveraged for commerce.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and a basic understanding of social media analytics tools is a plus.

$20 - $20 an hour
